Credit

Buying credit opens at launch.

Then you choose an amount on your Gelim Account’s Billing page and pay on Stripe’s checkout page. The credit appears as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, with its receipt.

How credit is used
  1. Set aside

When work starts — a reply, an image, a meeting’s transcript — your account sets aside the most it could cost.

  2. Charged for what was used

When it finishes, to the fraction of a cent.

  3. The rest comes back

To your balance, at once. Every charge shows with the app and the model that used it.

Questions

Pricing, answered.

What is credit?

One balance in euros, in your Gelim Account, shared by every Gelim app. It is prepaid use, not money: it can’t be withdrawn.

What does “the provider’s price plus 15%” mean?

Each provider publishes what its models cost. Gelim Account charges that price plus 15%, and checks the providers’ prices every six hours. Two things are priced differently: transcription is € 0.25 an hour, and web search and deep research are charged per use, at the search provider’s price with no markup for now. Every model’s current price is in your Gelim Account, under Models.

What is Automatic?

Gelim’s model picker starts on Automatic: the first model on the Gelim team’s list that can do the work. You pay that model’s price, and the answer says which model it was. Choose any other model whenever you like.

What happens when my credit runs out?

Work your credit can’t cover doesn’t start, and nothing is charged; Gelim says so and links to your account. A live meeting needs available credit to start. A monthly limit works the same way: a request that could pass it is refused before anything is charged.

Does credit expire?

Credit you buy lasts a year from the day you buy it. A complimentary grant, such as early-access credit, may end sooner. Your account’s Overview shows credit that ends within 30 days.

Can I get a refund?

Credit you bought and haven’t used can be refunded on request: write to hi@gelim.ai. The refund goes back through Stripe to how you paid, and that credit leaves your balance. Credit already used, and complimentary credit, can’t be refunded. A team’s seats are billed by the month: cancelling them ends them at the end of the month already paid.

Is VAT added?

No VAT is charged (small business under § 19 UStG). The price you see is the price you pay.

How do teams and seats work?

A team is a plan with its own credit: it pays for everything its members do in Gelim. Each seat is € 3 a month, and every member and every pending invitation takes one. Seats and credit are separate: a seat adds no credit. The owner manages the team, billing managers add credit and manage the seats, and members see their own usage. If a seat payment fails, the team keeps working for seven days while it is put right.

Invitations go to email addresses that have no Gelim Account yet. While you are on a team, your personal credit is kept for you, and it pays again if you leave.

How does team sign-in work?

On the Team plan, the owner can connect the team’s Microsoft Entra directory, so that members sign in with their work account, and can require it. Members then sign in again after the number of days the owner chooses, up to 30.

How many devices can I use?

Up to 10, on either plan. To add another, sign one out in your Gelim Account, under Settings → Devices.

How much do my chats and my clipboard keep?

Your chats keep up to 1 GB: their messages, images and files, and the chats in Recently deleted until they go. When it is full, a chat keeps no new file until you make room. The cloud clipboard has its own 100 MB: it keeps the newest items and lets the oldest go.

What happens to my data?

Your chats and your cloud clipboard are sealed with a key of your own. A request and its answer wait, sealed, for about a day so that your app can collect them, and are then deleted. Our operators see counts, sizes and money, never content. The details are in the privacy notice.
