Credit and usage
Gelim has no subscription. Each answer, transcript, search or report is charged to the credit in your Gelim Account, and you can cap what each kind of work may spend in a month.
What you need
- A Gelim Account with credit. Buying credit opens at launch.
1. Check your balance
Open account.gelim.ai. Overview shows Available credit, anything Held while work runs, credit Expiring soon, and what you Spent this month.
2. Set monthly limits
Open Billing → Monthly limits. For Text, Images, Video and Audio, choose No limit, A monthly amount or Off. Searches and research count as text. Longest reply caps how long one answer may be. Choose Save limits; limits reset at the start of each month.
3. See where it went
Open Usage. Choose a period, then look By feature (Gelim · Chat, Canvas, Recordings), By model, By provider or, on a team, By person. Export CSV downloads the lines.
How a charge works
When work starts, the most it could cost is held. When it ends, only what it used is charged, and the rest returns. A cancelled deep research or a failed run costs nothing.
| Work | Charged as |
|---|---|
| Chats, actions, canvases, translations | Text, by the model's price |
| Web search | By the searches and the pages read |
| Deep research | By the report, Standard or Deeper |
| Transcription | By the hour of audio |
| A live recording | Needs available credit to start |
Every model's price is in Settings → Models, in each Gelim app, and on the Models page of your Gelim Account.
Warnings you may see
- Your balance is low when little credit is left.
- At the last 30 days' pace, your credit lasts less than a week.
- In the apps, Add credit in your Gelim Account when a request needs more. A recording keeps saving audio on your device; only live text and transcription wait.
Time saved, in the apps
Each Gelim app's Settings → Usage shows time saved and counts, never money: how many actions you used and roughly how much time they saved. Edit estimates… changes the minutes per kind; Reset statistics… clears the counts on every device.
Limits and notes
- Credit expires after 12 months. Credit that expires soonest is spent first.
- On a team, the team pays. Members see their own usage; owners and billing managers see everyone's.
