Widgets, Shortcuts and the Lock Screen
Reach Gelim without opening it first: widgets to record or ask, a Control Center button, Siri phrases, Shortcuts actions, and a Live Activity while you record.
Add a widget
- Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen or Lock Screen, then tap Edit → Add Widget.
- Search for Gelim.
- Choose a widget and size, and tap Add Widget.

Add the Record control
On iOS 18, open Control Center, tap +, and add Gelim's Record. Tap it to start, and again to finish. You can also put it on the Action button: Settings → Action Button → Controls.
Add Gelim's one-press shortcuts
Two shortcuts, each added in one tap: open the link on your iPhone, or tap the button in Gelim's Settings → Integrations, then Add Shortcut.

Put one on the Action button (iOS Settings → Action Button → Shortcut) or on Back Tap (iOS Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap → Double Tap).
Use Siri and Shortcuts
Gelim's shortcuts are there as soon as Gelim is installed and opened once; there's nothing to build.

The Live Activity
While you record, the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island show the recording's clock and its state: Live text on, Offline · saving on this iPhone, Paused, and so on. After you finish, it shows the upload, Sending audio · 7 of 12 parts, until everything is sent.
