Updates and launch at login

Gelim downloads new versions in the background and installs them in one click, never in the middle of a recording.

1. Notice the update icon

Gelim looks for a new version every hour, and when you come back to it after an hour or more. When one has downloaded, an update icon appears at the end of the Discover row in the sidebar. Hover it to see the version.

2. Click it

Gelim installs the update and restarts. If you'd rather not now, just quit Gelim later: the update installs on the way out.

Check for updates yourself

Choose Check for Updates… in the Gelim menu, in the menu bar mark's menu, or in Settings → General → Updates.
