Set up the keyboard

The Gelim keyboard rewrites, summarizes and chats in any app on your iPhone. Add it once, allow Full Access, and it's one tap of the globe key away wherever you type.

What you need

  • Gelim for iPhone, signed in with your Gelim Account.
  • iOS 17 or later.

1. Open the setup card

Open Gelim, tap the round button at the top left to open the drawer, then tap Settings → Keyboard. The card Set up the Gelim keyboard shows how many of the four steps are done.

2. Add the keyboard in iOS Settings

Tap Open iOS Settings. iOS opens Gelim's page. Tap Keyboards, then turn on Gelim.

3. Allow Full Access

On the same page, turn on Allow Full Access. iOS asks you to confirm; choose Allow. iOS requires Full Access for any keyboard to reach the internet, so actions, chat and the clipboard from your other devices need it. Typing works without it.

4. Try it

Go back to Gelim and tap Try it here. A practice field opens with sample text already selected. Press and hold the globe key, choose Gelim, and tap Summarize. Nothing leaves this screen until you tap an action.

What you'll see

Above the keys sits Gelim's bar. Its tabs are Quick, My actions and Clipboard, with the Chat button at the end.
