Clipboard history
Everything you copy on your Mac is kept in the launcher's Clipboard tab, ready to paste again. Turn on the cloud clipboard and what you copy on your iPhone or in the browser is here too.
What you need
- Gelim for Mac, signed in with your Gelim Account.
- Accessibility allowed, so Gelim can paste into other apps.
1. Open the Clipboard tab
Press ⌘⇧V from any app, or open the launcher and press ⌘4.
2. Find what you copied
Items are listed newest first. Type to search the text and the app it came from. Choose All devices or This Mac at the top; All devices appears once the cloud clipboard is on.
3. Paste it
| Keys | What it does |
|---|---|
| ⏎ | Paste into the app you came from |
| ⌥⏎ | Paste as plain text |
| ⌘C | Copy it to the clipboard |
| ⌘⌫ | Delete, or Delete everywhere for an item on your account |
| ⌘8 | Start a chat about it |
Turn on the cloud clipboard
Open Settings → Clipboard and turn on Cloud clipboard. What you copy from then on is sent to your Gelim Account and appears on your iPhone and in the browser. Each item names its device: mac, iphone or browser.
| This Mac | All devices | |
|---|---|---|
| How much | the last 200 items, up to 100 MB, for 30 days | the newest 100 MB |
| Each item | up to 20 MB | up to 20 MB |
| What | text and images | text and images |
| Never | passwords, concealed copies, files | passwords, one-time codes, files |
An item marked Only on this Mac wasn't sent: it was too large, a file, or copied while the cloud clipboard was off.
