Share audio into Gelim

Have a voice memo or an audio file in another app? Share it to Gelim and it becomes a recording, transcribed like any other.

What you need

  • Gelim for iPhone, opened and signed in at least once.

1. Share the file

In Voice Memos, Files or any app, tap Share and choose Gelim. If you don't see it, tap More and add it.

2. Wait for "Saved to Gelim"

Each file shows Saving NN %, then Saved. The files are sealed on your iPhone until Gelim sends them.

3. Open Gelim

Tap Open Gelim. The audio is sent and transcribed, and each file appears in Recordings as its own recording.

Limits and notes

  • Audio files only. To import a video's sound, use Import in Recordings.
  • Up to 20 files at a time, up to 100 MB each. A larger file is named, not dropped: save it to Files, then use Import in Recordings.
  • Sharing to Gelim means "transcribe this audio". To ask about a file in a chat, add it in the chat instead.
