Gelim on the web
Open Gelim in any browser, on any computer, with nothing to install. Everything you've made on your Mac or iPhone is here, and you can record meetings from a browser tab too.
What you need
- A recent browser: Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.
- A Gelim Account (create one).
1. Open Gelim
Go to gelim.ai/app.
2. Sign in
Gelim takes you to your Gelim Account's sign-in in the same tab, then back to the page you opened.
3. Ask your first question
Type in Message Gelim… and press ⏎. Add files with Add files, by pasting, or by dropping them on the composer.
What you'll see
The same sidebar as on the Mac: Search, Chats +, Canvases +, Recordings +, your list, Discover, Settings, and your account: click your name to open Settings → Account. While the list shows every kind, each row has its kind's icon, the same as the Chats, Canvases and Recordings rows; choose one kind and the icons go. Chats also shows a new chat, as Canvases and Recordings open their pages. On a phone-sized window, the sidebar becomes a drawer behind Menu.
Hover a row and click ⋯, or right-click it, for Open in new tab, Rename, Pin, Share…, Copy link, Archive and Delete…. Canvases add Duplicate and Publish…, and a canvas's Share… opens its Publish and export; recordings add Export… and Chat about this.
What's different from the Mac
| On the Mac | On the web |
|---|---|
| The launcher, Insert, Services, the share menu | Not available; use Copy, Share or Download |
| Canvases over a folder | A folder canvas opens read-only, with Open on Mac |
| Separate windows | Browser tabs: Open in new tab |
| Meeting audio from any app | Meeting tab + microphone in Chrome and Edge, or Microphone only anywhere |
| The launcher's Clipboard tab | A Clipboard panel in the page header |
| Playing a recording's audio | Only recordings this browser holds offline |
Sign out
Click your name at the foot of the sidebar, or open Settings → Account, and choose Sign out…. Every tab of this browser signs out. If recordings are still uploading, Gelim tells you first: they wait in this browser, and clearing the site's data would delete them.
