Team members and roles
Invite people to your team by email, choose what each one can see, and hand the team over when you need to.
What you need
- To be the team's Owner in your Gelim Account.
1. Open your team
Go to account.gelim.ai and choose Teams. The tabs are Members, Invitations, Sign-in and Settings.
2. Invite someone
Open Invitations, choose Invite member, and enter their email. They receive You're invited to join … on Gelim and have 7 days to accept. You can resend an invitation, at most once a minute, or withdraw it.
3. Choose their role
Open Members, find the person, and change their role. Gelim asks for a short reason.
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything: members, invitations, sign-in, apps, billing, closing the team |
| Billing manager | See everyone's usage and the team's credit; manage billing |
| Member | Use Gelim; see their own usage only |
4. Turn Gelim on for the team
Open Apps. As owner, you have the team's switch on the Gelim card: On for your team, or off. Members see Managed by the team's owner.
Remove someone
In Members, choose Remove from team…. They lose access to the team, its apps and its credit at once.
Hand the team over
In Members, choose Offer ownership for another member. They have one hour to accept. When they do, you become a billing manager.
Close the team
In Teams → Settings, choose Close this team and type the team's name. Remaining team credit can't be spent afterwards, and this can't be undone.
Limits and notes
- You can invite only an email that has no Gelim Account yet. A former member can rejoin.
- Each pending invitation takes a seat until it's accepted, withdrawn or expires.
- Team admins in Gelim can also manage team Actions, team meeting defaults, public links and webhooks for recordings.
Next steps
- Team sign-in: require your company's Microsoft sign-in.
